If you’ve followed this blog for a bit, then you know of my love of olives and watermelon as shown in the iPhone photos taken yesterday. The olives are always the same, but the bowl of overpriced watermelon can change a lot.
Sometimes the watermelon is a bit sweeter or has a better or worse texture too. This particular bowl has both great texture and a very sweet flavor. Just call me a connoisseur of all things olive and watermelon. Snacks that are actually good for you!
Want less sodium on the olives? To reduce or remove most of the saltiness from the olives, I simply dump out all of the saltwater then give the olives a really good rinsing while still in the can. I’d say that about 90% of the salt is gone. Happy snacking!
