Pouring used engine oil into the ground is I believe less toxic, it came from the ground anyway but it’s still not the proper way to dispose of it. When I was about eight years young, we lived in a small condominium or apartment complex.
The dirt road that sprouted from Woodward Avenue would routinely be coated with some kind of black oil that stunk. Thinking back to nineteen sixty-eight, my bet is on the used engine oil. Imagine, just how toxic that ground must be today! Today, it’s a modern paved road.
