Good morning from my backyard where it’s 78 wonderful degrees. Here are four photos of the sunshine at a different angle than the day, the light seems softer. Wilson is also enjoying the morning sunshine too! I hope your day has been good. π

Loved the flowers and Wilson is adorable!
The lantana is really taking off. And look at how handsome and proud Wilson looks in his backyard! The Nikon is poppin off some beautiful shots John! π
Very pretty, and Wilson looks happy

Thanks, Beth! Wilson is a good boy, never a bother. ππ
Lol, he just goes with the flow
Sometimes it’s the best way to go… ππ»
The lantana is doing well! Those yellow blooms are bright and cheery.
The turtle sculpture is very life-like. Where did you get him?
Thanks, Lavinia, I fed the plants a bit of fertiliser about a week ago or so, they go boom! The Desert Tortoise was purchased at a local nursery, they have a much larger version of him but I like this size. π
Amazing photosβ€οΈβ€οΈ
And one heart for turtle’s super cute poseβ₯οΈ
Thanks very much, Alisha! Wilson is a faux Desert Tortoise that seems to move about the backyard himself, not sure how he does this! ππ»
Lovely job. We have a tortoise in our back garden called Jimmy the Flash. π
Great minds think alike. π
I guess you’re a professional photographer looking at the quality of your work. How’d you get the green to look so psychedelic? π
Thank you so much! I am not a professional, strictly amateur. Do you mean the blurred background? The 24-70mm lens is a great combination for near-macro and general photography. It can produce those nice backgrounds easily.
Particularly on the last of the photos, but on others too, the greens really pop on my screen. It’s a nice effect. Probably the sun caught it nicely in combination with your lens.
Thank you, Robert! ππ»
Pretty. Was Money Man sleeping in after a long night of MTV?
Thanks! Heβs inside in the kitchen window. Must be waiting for chili or spaghetti!
