Plants in The Beautiful Mojave Desert

Good morning, people! Another sunny day is underway in Las Vegas Valley. Today’s high temperature will be 105 degrees, and 106 degrees forecast for tomorrow. Welcome to the desert life. Today I’ve pulled several photos of desert foliage from the archive for you. I don’t know the names of many of these so I can’t say but they are wonderful looking plants, and fun to photograph like flower photography. I hope you’ve had a dandy weekend so far, G’day!

    • Hi Sandra, thanks! Well… They still look crappy but I’ve fed them some fertiliser and a bit more water the last few days, no change as yet but this will probably take a long time for them to snap back unless they kick the bucket. Meanwhile, the Lantana is popping with growth and color! 😊

    • Thank you! I’m thinking that I should have put some cacti in the backyard instead of those Sago Palms. If they kick the bucket, I’ll try those or maybe a couple more Med Fans. I hope your weekend has been good! 😊🍺
