Beautiful Blue and a Kitchen Window

Just two shots from yesterday, the Queens Ridge Towers are familiar to some of you, so is the Ransvaal Bank. Nothing new around here today other than I’ve scheduled the electrician company I’ve used here twice before, to give me an estimate on routing electricity in my master bedroom properly so that the alarm company can install a security camera back there too. My home is armed to the teeth as-is, a camera in the backyard will complete the system!

    • Hi! The system has been up and running since 2019, with no camera in the backyard. The electrician will be here this morning to have a look and an estimate. A switch with plugs is needed, and some holes punched into the walls. Then, the alarm people come out to install the camera and program the main panel to recognise the new camera. Fun eh!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

  1. Hi John, wasn’t able to reply to your question regarding the WordPress problem, so replying to this post. No, Cho didn’t log out. By the way, good idea to have your home safe and sound.

    • Thanks for letting me know. I’ve still got the real editor so far. I closed the comments on that post this morning…

    • Thanks so much! The Ransvaal keeps a tight eye on my recent cooking, not photographed are some delicious sausages for breakfast today. Sometimes, he’ll turn and give me the stink eye on what I’m doing… I apparently do not meet his standards for food or cooking methods. ๐Ÿ˜‚

    • I agree, Anneli! The home I lived in back in Michigan had glass blocks too so it’s a familiar thing to me. This home was built in 1996, it’s held up pretty good considering the climate. And also according to my neighbors who told me this home has had a few owners since they moved here.

        • Oh yah, I always take great care of my things including the 5 year old truck in the garage. Near-mint condition and just 21K miles. No salt on the roads down in the valley!

            • It takes way longer for metal to turn to dust here. I come upon salted roads when heading to Mount Charleston in winter. Around 6K or so, I come upon the salt, that terrible white stain on the road. I pull a 180 and head back down the mountain! Value and great looks maintained! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
