Love, Drowned and Broken

Walking along the edge of the lake at Sunset Park this morning, I saw something lighter in color than usual on the lake bottom. This is what is down there, and apparently, it’s been down there a good while looking at the marine growth on it. I have to wonder what happened to the couple? Was there a couple? Maybe a kid broke it and tossed the evidence?

      • Haha. I was going to say “It happens, sometimes three times,” but then I thought, no … that might be hurtful. But it’s good if you can smile now and put it behind you.

        • No worries, Anneli, thanks. I’m way past that it did happen three times. So much my fault, but not all mine. I’ve moved on, but those regrets and hurt will always be a part of my life. It has to be filed away, integrated into you as a person. My life is so much better today! 😎πŸ’ͺπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»

          • The important thing is to learn from our mistakes. Don’t worry. There are a lot of us out there who’ve had practice husbands or practice wives. Some of us are lucky, and some are not, but if we learn from it we can still be happy.
