A Short Video on Corona Virus

Once again, my old buddy up north sent me photos as well as this informative video. I hope you find it useful! I’ve tried to center the video with no luck, stupid CSS and HTML!

Pulling Out Some Oldies

Well, since I’ve not been out of the house today, I have nothing new for this space so here ya go. I pulled these photos down from the cloud. On a different thought, after using this site for a full day now I will say that the ‘upgrade’ I made yesterday for the WordPress Business plan has this site loading much faster both the site and the Admin pages just pop right up. Nice!

It does help though, that I have a super-fast cable service too. It was worth? the too-high price they want for one year but no regrets yet. And yes, I was totally against this plan, however, the damned block editor will come, the works perfectly well classic editor will go away next year. That’s no longer an issue, nor is storage space. Still, the price is too damn high, Matt!

It’s Chili in Here!

So chili in fact that I decided to whip up another pot of my favourite food! This batch so far has the same basic flavor that my recipe has, but with a very slight variation if that makes any sense to you. Would you care to try a bowl when it’s done it’s standard six-hour oh so slow cook? Mmmm so good LOL! 🤪

Wilson, The Glamour Shoot

I’m being plain old goofy here, these are the last photos of Wilson helping me in the kitchen the other day. Ain’t he a sexy dude haha! My father had surgery on his left knee early this morning in Michigan. I received a call from my sister a bit ago, he’s come out of surgery doing great! Yay! Thank you, Lord! 🙏🏻

Random, Crazy Thoughts

This list came to me via my buddy in Michigan yesterday, a collection of thoughts. Before I paste the information I want to admit something. Maybe it’s bad, maybe not but after all of my pissing and moaning about that damned block editor, I went so far as to purchase the Business plan offered by WordPress.

I’ve tired of the ridiculous space limitation imposed on the users here, and dealing with that freaking block editor being the only choice at some time next year. Hence, I made the purchase. So far, I don’t regret this.

The links to choose the Block or Classic editor are gone, the link now goes directly to the classic editor thanks to the plugin. Also, the entire site is loading much more quickly which is great, I hope it will also load as quickly for you too. Moving along now…

Baked Chicken

Actually, it’s thin-sliced baked chicken! This was another late-nite snack I whipped up around eleven last night. I spiced these breasts just right and baked them almost ten minutes longer than usual. Perfectly delicious! I think that chicken is probably the best meat out there aside from turkey meat.

Blue Sky Over Barbwire

Good sunny morning from me where we will have sunshine and 64 degrees today. Here are the last photos that I took a few days ago.

The barbwire is surrounding high voltage equipment that doesn’t appear to be there now. This is at the paving company property. The Vegas Strip photos have been parked on my desktop for a few days.

Fading Out of Existence

Here’s a bit of photographic fun with Wilson one more time. I think iColorama is a fabulous tool in my photo editing arsenal, it can do so many wonderful things.

I follow two people on Instagram (so sad Facebook bought it) that are doing some really beautiful work with the application. Wilson really knows how to blend in, doesn’t he?

Are You a Star Trekker?

If so, then you’ll enjoy this fun take on the Star Trek TNG series characters. Disclaimer: I am not the author of this image. I hold zero copyright. That must belong to the name on the bottom right of the image, but aren’t they so funny looking? Like little children again. But then some of us simply refuse to grow up… 😊

Wilson Helps Me in The Kitchen

Every so often, I need to wash the cap I am currently wearing because it just gets a wee bit grungy. I have a small cap collection but it’s very tiny compared to dad’s collection back home. Anyway, Wilson’s tortoiseshell is just the right size and shape to keep the cap in proper form. Thank you, Wilson!

Wilson takes great macro photos too

From A Simpler, Gentler Time

I captured this old Ford yesterday, the photo has been published but this is a different version. My father is an antique car expert and life-long car guru, he believes that this is a Ford Shay, I can’t provide a proper link for a better explanation as I can’t find one. Thanks to you know what, I can’t be with him. Pisses me off!
