Wilson Comes Indoors

Wilson came inside last night, so I put him on the range top so he can see what’s going on. He looks as though he’s going to be turned into Tortoise Soup, aye! Maybe I’ll let him stay indoors this winter…

There was an OS update for my Macs yesterday.

The OS was updated to Big Sur which is a nice improvement over the last one. However, the update has caused one problem for the HDR software I use daily so these photos are without that extra processing.

I hope to figure this out soon, otherwise, I’ll have to find different HDR software which sucks. Today’s forecast is for sunshine and 68 degrees, very nice actually!

    • Yeah, just having a bit of fun with Mr. Wilson. Maybe he should be atop my sidebar instead!

I have to agree with you on the OS updates!

So far, each major update like this has not messed with any of my “OEM” applications. But this is a serious one for me as I do plenty of processing. I spent time last eve and through today hunting for a solid replacement, none found that I can live with, even after trying the “trial” versions.

At this point, it appears that this is an issue that may not have been addressed yet by Skylum or Apple, just a guess. The same software also lives on a different Mac in the other room, I tried to work with a photo there too, the same problem. Seems changes are ahead.

The other app I’ve always used in tandom with Aurora is great, similar in some ways to some Adobe apps but I’m not so sure I can adjust to that!! πŸ€ͺ
