If you’ve followed this site long enough then you’ll already know of my disdain for the leveling of this wonderful place. These birds are so beautiful, aren’t they! Thanks very much, you damned land developers.

Sometimes a peacock who lived across the road on a small farm came to visit us and we had a fun just watching him. I enjoyed your video so much, John! Beautiful bird!!!
Thank you, Kaya! I’m glad you like the beautiful bird too. ❤️
They are beautiful birds, John. I recognize the call. Someone in our area had some too, at one point.
They seem to be good at vanishing too, Lavinia. Not good…
Such incredible birds. I’m sorry to hear about the land development. Hoping the peacocks found a safe home.
Thanks, me too! These developers seem to want to cover the entire desert with cookie cutter homes.
On my way to the store, I always pass a house that has peacocks and they always cross the street to roam around on the empty lots. I keep wondering what will happen to them now that the house is up for sale.
I hope an animal shelter will take them in, GP.
Agreed!
Beautiful. Luckily they can live among people as long as people allow it. But yes, I agree, I hate to see more and more land developed for urban living.
An amazing bird! This place is waaay outside of Las Vegas.
They are so beautiful! No home will ever compare.
Thanks, Beth. I’m sure you know this wonderful place, I miss it! Fun photo ops and critters.
I’ve never been but I’ll live vicariously through your photos! 🦚 Maybe I’ll get more time next trip to do more…
I see, well I’m glad to have you along on the journey! I can send you some desert sand, a few Joshua tines… Kidding!
Lol, my daughter once sent me a bag of sagebrush so I could just smell Nevada!!
I appreciate your photos! 🌵
Awww that’s so sweet of her! Thanks so much, Beth. ☺️🌵🌴🌞
