I’ve been processing around fifteen photos or more that were taken yesterday whilst out and about. How are you today? It’s another sunny and beautiful day here with a temperature of around fifty-five degrees.

I am fascinated by the second photo on the top with many curvy lines. John, you did a great editing in every photo and a perspective you created is fabulous.
You are so kind, Kaya, thank you! The road is Durango road where it crosses over Summerlin Parkway. ❤️
What a brilliant photo. Love it.
Thank you, Vinny! 😎
Cheers!
I like the second photo a lot, the processing is nice and the pavement looks like furrows in a farmer’s field.
Thank you, Belinda. This is Durango Road southbound where it crosses over Summerlin Parkway. Two lanes are behind me, it splits into three lanes here. Charleston Boulevard is about one mile further south.
What’s the first one? All that green surrounded by barren ground so it seems…
That’s a good question! This is a part of a golf course believe it or not. Golf courses are in my view, a terrible waste of water. Too much grass in spite of what little you see here, Maj. My grass is faux in the backyard. I’m a huge believer in Desert Scaping. Or Desertscaping. The spell check doesn’t like that word. Desert scaping saves so much water!
With you on the waste of water. Thanks for the explanation of the grass.
Your welcome. The Colorado River feeds water to California, Arizona and maybe New Mexico too. I’m not totally sure about that, but the river serves so many people yet we haven’t seen rain from the Monsoon season in two years as far I’m concerned. Not good. The Rockies feed the river too, apparently not enough as Lake Mead is so low.
I remember back in the early 1970’s that water from the Colorado river was a hot topic in Arizona. (I was in grad school in Tucson then)
I have to believe that it’s still a hot topic. Sometimes I feel as though I better move back home and drink that rusty well water in Michigan!
It’s a beautiful place.
Indeed, come on down, bring your captain, Anneli! I appreciate you visiting this blog so much, thank you. 😊
It’s a nice thought. Thanks.
