About two years ago, I was at the Red Rock Canyon Scenic Overlook seen in these photos. There were two young guys from California as you can imagine that had these bikes with them. I was and still am amazed by them. So unique, they must be one of a kind, custom-built bikes.
I didn’t ask to ride them but that would have been cool! Californians are inventive folk, many things customized seem to come from that state. I was lucky to get these photos, one of which I was literally blown away when taking. That day was extremely windy and cold since it was winter.
I was blown right over on my ass by one huge gust since I was crouched down for these shots. That must have been funny to see! I remember getting back up and gaining my composure after that one. The young guys put the bikes back on the deck lid of the car and headed into Las Vegas.
These are really neat-looking… fun to ride!

We have more and more bikes in the cities, many more cycle paths have also been constructed and we even have a cycle network of almost traffic-free cycle paths across almost the entire country (Belgium) but also in the Netherlands, parts or Germany and France:

Great shots of those bikes John !
Wow, thank you for the link, the biking pathways are amazing! I don’t think there is anything like that over here. The people must be in better physical condition there, I’m glad you like the bikes!
Interesting that you can get a low rider vehicle, motorcycle or bicycle these days.
That’s a good point! These have got to be one of a kind bikes, do you remember the song by War about the Low Rider? I still jam that tune man! ✌🏻
WOW! I remember now, I have a bike too and I haven’t ridden yet… standing in the city home. My Love doesn’t want me to ride in the village, because of the village situations and also sloping place. What a great joy to ride a bike and travel… I can dream. Thank you dear John, Love, nia
I’m sorry you can’t ride, Nia, that’s awful. These are very much custom bikes!
Lowrider bikes are a thing. We have them out here along with the cars. I have seen people riding them downtown, but they are mainly for show.
BTW excellent photos. There enough to blow you down.
Thank you! And that one big gust literally laid me flat out on the ground! Bamo!!! 😂
That’s so cool that they ride them down there! I’ve never seen one anywhere in the city being ridden around.
You can see photos of a guy riding one at https://wp.me/p1yQyy-1Rg.
Thanks for the link, 😊
