What Did You Have For Lunch?
There was a package full of my favorite thin-sliced chicken in the fridge that needed to be cooked soon, so here it is. Some were baked, the rest fried on the range, and man it’s so good! This makes a dandy quick meal after a couple of brewskis later tonight. I hope you’ve had a great weekend, regardless of the nasty virus interrupting plans.
Cuked
The amazing cuke, cold and delicious as-is like in the photos or with a salad or… Use your imagination! Add a tiny bit of ground black pepper, and some faux salt substitute. Yum! The other photos are from last night. What? Captured with Lenka.
Nothing New For You
It’s true, I have nothing new for you today. What to do? Just grab some random photos in the kitchen and outside the kitchen. Welcome to my very peaceful and sunny Sunday morning! Partly sunny and upper 50s are forecast for Las Vegas today, warmer temperatures are coming next week in the low 60s, sounds wonderful in January, doesn’t it?
How do you like that pile of medications on the kitchen counter? Lovely pills, aren’t they? They are mostly blood pressure medications but since I’ve altered my diet recently, that middle pile represents many of the pills I haven’t needed! Wonderful, isn’t it? I can still make a good decision these days… Happy Sunday to you!
Las Vegas
This is Downtown Las Vegas, separate from the Las Vegas Strip. The Fremont Street Experience is also located here, if you’ve never visited Las Vegas before, then you should include this as part of your visit. You won’t regret this! I took this photo early today while on another joy ride, also known as just get the heck out of the house for a while! Happy weekend to you!
I am several miles west of downtown in this photo
After The Night Photos
After those photos, I set the Nikon in the living room and snapped these silly photos with the iPhone. Man oh man, it’s such a beautiful day in Las Vegas today! The sunshine is back and the city is on the move. I stopped at a local park and had a short walk. I was very dismayed that apparently, about 99% of the people there including children were not wearing masks!
I’d like to ask these people why the hell they are not wearing masks, but that isn’t my style. Yet shame on them for potentially adding to, and helping to spread, this terrible virus. Ignorance is as ignorance does. I on the other hand was masked up and had my trusty bottle of hand sanitiser in my pocket as always. Come on Americans, use your damn brains!
Night Photos With The Tripod
Since the sky cleared off nicely after dark, I grabbed the tripod for a change and popped the Nikon on top. I still don’t have the settings right for this, but they are better than they used to be. Except for that smeared photo and the deep grainy look! Partly sunny and fifty-four degrees is the forecast for today, and there was a bit of frost on things this morning, so chilly!

Biker Bars and Desert Donkeys
Here are two older photos for you, the donkey is likely hanging out just outside of Las Vegas to the west around the Red Rock Canyon area. The Pioneer Saloon is in Goodsprings, Nevada. You can read more about the history of our wild donkeys here.
Desert Cement
Looking at this photo, I can’t recall where the photo was taken but it could have been during one of my day trips. There is a similar factory nearby but that’s not this factory. The black and white version looks a little better. The flowers are wildflowers I saw on a walk in the desert some time ago, the desert isn’t always a barren place. Good morning from a rainy Las Vegas.🌵
