Thank you, Pooja! The Great Lakes area has so much to offer, but more so if you love riding snowmobiles and other outdoor activities in other months. Three or so rides home per year are wonderful until Covid happened, I hope we all can resume travel later this new year. Be safe! ๐
Hi! It’s a residence. It’s a dummy, there are two of them in that area. The property is well away from any fire station, bring the big tanker truck! There’s a small pond nearby which can be used for water too.
Thank you, Renard! All of them were restored several years ago and have been well maintained since those days with paint and new roofing as needed. They onced housed a collection of old cars, today, there are very few old timer cars left.
That is a lovely converted barn to residence, John. The fire hydrant had me fooled as well. ๐
Lovely images! I have always wanted to visit Michigan since it’s so close to where I stay but it hasn’t happened so far. Maybe someday.

Hope so too and be safe as well!
Is this a commercial property? I know I never had a fire hydrant by any of my barns when I was farming! LOL

Never heard of a fake fire hydrant before. Guess the dogs find them useful! ๐ฆฎ
Sorry, I should have said that they are real hydrants but they are just sitting on the ground. Oops! ๐
LOL I guess real ones not connected to water could still be considered โfakesโ
What’s real is fake, but fake can be real too. Really! ๐๐คช
๐ That old barn looks weel-kept, John.
Thanks for sharing these three photographs of the old barn.
