Snow Squalls Blow Over The Ridge 2

Here is the next set of landscapes from yesterday a few miles west of the city. I set up a Flickr account yesterday but haven’t uploaded anything to it yet as I don’t fully know how the site works yet. I’ll give it a try but time will tell. Nothing else to mention this morning, I feel like going back to bed though. πŸ˜‚

  1. Wonderful captures John. Looks like some pretty unsettled weather. Fascinating to see the clouds touching the desert floor.

    • Thanks! It really is beautiful to watch the snow slowly roll over the ridge and fall gently. This low pressure system is supposed to move out of here soon. I want my sunshine back! 😍🌞🌴

    • I’ve had enough too. So dark and dank, my skylight made lots of noise when a bit of small hail fell here. I heard thunder twice too.

    • Sounds good, thanks for the offer. I added this set to the Flickr account this afternoon. I’ve never used this platform before, so I am not sure what to expect. I think it’s jbm1960

  2. I really enjoyed these dramatic photos of the snow squalls, John. Very different from the usual bright blue skies you have.

    • Hi Jet, thanks so much! A low pressure system is still hanging around here, I miss the sunshine. I hope you guys are well! 😊

    • Thanks very much, Tim! A low pressure system was, still is moving through the area that came off of the Pacific. It can move along now, sunshine please!

    • Thanks, guys! I think I’ll drop the few remaining photos in the bin and move on. No crazy snow today, just overcast and a chance of rain as I said.

  3. These are very beautiful, dramatic scenes, John! I enjoyed these very much! Sometimes a good nap is what is needed. Any cat would tell you this is a very sensible thing to do. πŸ™‚

Overcast and just above 36 degrees here this morning. The day is young, and just getting underway.

    • Thanks so much! I never tire of this desert. I don’t usually take naps, but the gray sky today can make me feel drowsy. Weird, eh? πŸ˜‚
