Snowflakes

Note: I did not write the words below but I do fully agree with them. Many young people today have zero clues about these things and why they enjoy the freedoms they have today. Freedoms that many are trying to destroy.

This is what 18-year-old “kids” were doing in 1944. No safe spaces, no hurtful unthinkable remarks that they couldn’t cope with, just dying for their country so the ungrateful, uninformed snowflakes of today could act like damn fools decades later… This 2-minute video is moving…

“What actually made this country great is ordinary guys like this doing extraordinary things.”

      • There are lots of your servicemen buried all over the UK John. There were air bases in WW1 and WW2 in my locality and hopefully i can get to do a bit of research on them in thhe next few months. They are never forgotten.

        • Thank you for telling me this, Ian. I knew there are some but not that many.

At times I feel as though we are the same people, I suppose we are to some degree due to our genetics. I have Irish blood in my veins.

Maybe this is why I have such deep respect and love for the United Kingdom, and yet have never been there… 🇬🇧❤️

          • Got irish blood in me too John. There are lots of commonwealth war graves all over the UK and they are well tended. I’ll post a few stories over the next few months, it’ll be an interesting project for me. I’ll keep you posted.

  1. I found it equally telling that the ship’s commander did not hesitate to sacrifice a multi-,million dollar airplane to honor the young man’s burial at sea. Today, the commander would be worried about the political ramifications he would face trying to explain the “destruction of Government property, not to mention the mountain of paperwork he would have to complete.

    • Thanks, Derrick. Too many young people today have no clue about why they enjoy the freedoms they have today. All they seem to care about is de-funding our police to promote anarchy and the destruction of this country. America has in my opinion, seen her best days.
