It wasn’t the gas furnace – just a space heater in the kitchen. I don’t think there is a month of the year when I haven’t used a space heater at some point. I know I had the fireplace on a few weeks ago. 🥶

Lol. Yes I am but it does get pretty chilly most evenings. I think the only month when we have not gotten snow (in the past 100 yrs or so) is August.

Not like six feet or at -40 but enough to cover the ground and stay for the night. We get heavy snows in May and October quite regularly.
Wow, I never saw that in Michigan! is that -40 F or C? The coldest I’ve rode a snowmobile in was -30F, incredibly cold! My breath froze to my mustache right away. 🥶
