I find that the homes on the west side of Las Vegas Valley have better views of the foothills than those on the east side as the foothills run further north to south. At my home, I can’t see any 6000 footers to the north but I can see the foothills to the west. I have never tired of our beautiful mountain views in almost ten years here in Las Vegas Valley.

I believe so if you love the desert life.
This desert isn’t a barren plain, it has so much wildlife on the desert floor, high in the mountains there are wild horses and sheep and the many other kinds of animals you’d find at 6000+ feet above the hot desert floor.
I love this place but am torn at times to go home to Michigan because of missing my family. I’m basically alone here. Follow the link below which will show you what lives here besides noisy tourists and local residents! 😂
