The rain is moving north this morning from the California coast today and I hope Las Vegas gets a good soaking today. The drought here is so bad that the Fed has got involved regarding the Lake Mead water level. Let’s do a rain dance!

It definitely looks like rain. Fingers crossed that your rain dance worked. Too bad we can’t send some of our rain over to you. We’ve had no shortage of it this fall.
It rained but it wasn’t much. The US east coast is drowning yet the southwest is dried up and crispy…
Beautiful image of the sky John …I will send some rain over to help clear the drought.
Looks promising! Keep dancing, John!
It rained, but nearly enough as usual. This year’s monsoons brought more rain than usual but they were not enough either to help with the drought.
Our summer was fairly good. Heat when we needed it and rain on between. 😏
That’s good! What is heat? 80F?
Low 90s
Oh, that sounds nice and sticky!
We don’t generally get much humidity in Regina. A few days of fog a year. We generally get our rain on cooler days or most often at night, when it is cooler so it just soaks into our clay and stays there.
Amazing, sounds like a nice climate, Annmarie. A few days ago I pulled up some stats and facts about your city, I’d like to visit but it’s a bit of a drive!
Just a bit! And for whatever reason, planes do not fly north to south. I think people who go to Las Vegas go through Minneapolis, which seems bizarre!
Airlines don’t have many direct flights these days, they may have to connect in that city. I can’t get a direct flight from Vegas to Flint, MI, my home city.
It has been like that here for ages. Even going east/west is an issue. For most flights down East, we have to go through Calgary and fly back over Regina. Not going to happen for me!
Our skies are emptying water on us daily now. Making up for the summer. It’s all or nothing around here.
Lucky you guys! It didn’t rain much here but it’s better than nothing.
The sky is stormy and it is promising rain. I hope you will have a rainy day John. Our drought is also so bad. The photos are splendid! Love the low horizon!
Thank you, Kaya! It has rained on and off a few times now, the air smells so good!
