Green and blue make a beautiful view! The street lamp photo is from my kitchen windows, the other in the backyard this morning where it’s just 55F, slightly cool to me and a high of 64 today. Summer has definitely left the stage! Next week promises the mid to upper 70s which will be so wonderful. Happy hump day my friends! Nikon Z6 at 50mm.

It’s frigid and blustery here on the high plains, so much so 18-wheelers are getting blown of the road! I don’t think my VW Golf Sportwagen would have a chance. Add a little snow, and it would be a fine blizzard. Calmer days are ahead, though, and we anticipate temperatures in the 60s….
60s are good, well above 32! We had a hell of a windstorm recently, what a mess it made in my neighborhood with cans and trash everywhere! I imagine the truckers had to pull over and wait a long time until the wind was done blasting.
Ugh! I especially dislike high winds!
I like the wind until it turns into a two-day event which has happened, then it becomes annoying.
Yes, I totally understand how pioneer women isolated from people other than family could go crazy from the wind!
They need a man!
LOL I suspect a few men were murdered in their sleep for bringing their wives out to this dismal place when they could have the comforts of a nice Victorian home in the east!
