Thanks, the camera holds the “shutter” open for a longer exposure, hence it does a decent job collecting as much light as possible.

It was, it’s still clear up there today too. The camera holds the “shutter” open longer so it can collect as much light as is available. Not the quality you would get with the Nikon which is something I’ve not tried.
It is finally clearing up here but I think the temp is dropping.
I suppose it’s because your so far up north. The distance is 1,115 miles from your city to mine.

I’ve drove interstate for an employer some years ago, it’s no problem for me to run 800+ miles in a day!
My limit is about 500 – with Dan or Jen driving. If I am behind the wheel – not so much. 😂
It’s more comfortable in a car than a big crew cab pulling a trailer weighing several tons…
I don’t like cars anymore. There are so many semis, SUVs, and 4×4 pickups on our roads, I feel invisible down in a car.
