I rarely visit this park and was passing by this afternoon and stopped to get some photos of the military jet statue. It’s not an actual aircraft body but it looks fairly real. It’s very windy again today which made the aircraft bobble up and down a bit but it must be pretty strong since it’s been there since 2013. In the northeast area of Las Vegas Valley is an airport that was once the main airport for Las Vegas, but is now Nellis Air Force Base. I can hear the jets fly at my home.
That is a neat design with the supports of the jet resembling the exhaust trails.
It’s a great design! It moved in the wind just a little bit and it was very windy.
