Thanks, Anneli! I can certainly understand why you and others don’t want to deal with our summer heat, it’s not for everyone! My neighbors were born and raised here so they don’t mind the heat, it’s normal for them. I have adapted pretty well I think. The idea of having to deal with so little sunshine and long dark winters no longer appeals to me. Being in Michigan next month will be cold challenge!

Wrap yourself up in a blanket with a hot drink like chicken soup!
That would have been the smart thing to do but we had a cold pasta salad instead. Not thinking!

Thanks, Anita! We are well into the cooler months now, gone are the 110+ degree days. We have 300+ days per year of sunshine which I absolutely love! Makes me feel much more cheery. 🌞🌴
