I had a nice chat with a woman in the grocery store this morning who is also a native Michigander, it’s so nice to talk with people who know the lifestyle we live in Michigan. People are more friendly and easygoing than here in Las Vegas. She even knows just where my hometown is and has been there. It’s truly a small world, isn’t it? Even her words sound like a true Michigander, our dialect is slightly different than here in the desert southwest. A little taste of home.

A new friend, perhaps?
Probably not, your probably the best friend I have here!
Awww, Thanks. We should meet sometime and have coffee, somewhere.
Perhaps. ☺️
Love these images John ..
Thanks so much, Anita, wishing you two a wonderful and safe 2022. ☺️
It is definitely nice to meet someone from home when you are miles away. 👍
Thanks, you bet! The distance is just over 2000 miles actually. That’s a three-day drive or so, or a 3.5 hour flight!
If planes are flying. Seems there have been quite a few cancellations lately. 🤷
I don’t know about that as I am not flying anywhere until spring probably but it’s got to have something to do with the virus and the terrible weather beating up our northern states and of course the southern provinces. Stay home, be safe!
For sure!
A warm blanket and a cuppa something hot – perfect.
So true. Although happy hour is looking pretty good. 😉
My wine is delicious tonight. ☺️
I ended up having a 7 up. No wine last night. Happy hour for me is usually pretty tame. 😊
Seven up, I haven’t had that in years, loved it as a kid! Happy New Year my friend! 🇨🇦
What can I say – I am a kid at heart. 😊. Happy New Years, John! 🎉🇺🇲
The mountains in your area have a lot of character.
Thanks Anneli, I think so. Being bald makes them different. The mountains with trees are a few miles away and are 12,000 footers.
I like to see the rock formations and wonder what kind of minerals make those colours.
All I know for sure is that the red colors are from Iron. I meant Colours. 😬
