On yesterday’s ride, I came across this poor duck that just didn’t look right at all. He or she looks so disheveled and sickly and I feel so bad for the little critter. I didn’t notice it until I put these photos on the MacBook, but one photo captured the duck taking a dump! Yuck! Then, the poor thing decided to cross the road which concerned me as I heard a car coming behind me. Gladly, the car slowed down and allowed the duck to finish its very slow waddle to the other side. Perhaps the duck is nearing the end of its days. Live long and prosper, my little friend.

I was very worried the driver would give the duck the crunch! I’ll have a look around the area next time I ride through there. No ride today, it’s way too windy!
Maybe he might be getting older. 🤔 hope he does well.

Finding positivity today is more difficult than when i was much younger. How does today’s youth find positivity in a world going more mad each day…
I think they need to start hanging it, instead of blaming the craziness for more bad behavior.

Poor little duck😢. Seems like a harsh place for any sickly being. I hope he made his was to a nicer place to rest. Little grass… Small lake.
The photos were taken atop a car and walking bridge so the duck was well above the water, and where it couldn’t see the water because of the bridge sides. I’ve seen ducks on the bridge before, but not sick ducks. Sad! I’ll have a look around the next time I ride over that bridge.

It’s always so sad when a bird is getting sick or injured. I hope that this poor duck will recover and get better. I hope so much!
