While I was waiting for my friend to show up to go biking together, I noticed that there was an old car gathering going on so I grabbed the iPhone and snapped these photos of this gorgeous 1969 Dodge Charger. I would love to drive this beautiful car, complete with manual transmission too. I have several more photos of other cars to upload later. What a great day it has been! Temperatures in the low 60s and not a cloud in the sky, yay!

I love Dodge Chargers, one of my favourite vehicles!
Then you’ll love this car, complete with a manual transmission!
Oh man, I learned to drive with manual transmission but haven’t done that for years!
It would come back to you!
I am at the opposite end. I love and feel comfortable in the Lawnmower type cars.
They have no guts when you need real acceleration which can be dangerous. A Buick with it’s three-cylinder engine is ridiculous…
I don’t drive much, so a small car is great for me. I am hoping to get a Smart Car, an IQ or a Volkswagen Bug next.
Cute
Thanks, this is a real car in my view, built in the days of muscle cars!
It looks really cool 🥰
Thanks, I wish it were my car! American Muscle always looks hot. 😂🔥
Wishes do come true, when there’s life there is hope sir ❤️
That’s a great point!
Shines up real well!
Thanks, AnnMarie. I have no idea if these cars were available in Canada in their day.
They were for sure and they still are. We have a lot of car clubs like that around here.
OK, yay! These were real cars, not like those today with lawn mower engines under the hood… 😂
Especially in the States. Those pedal cars they give away on game shows. 😧. 2 cylinder? Wtf?
Oh man, I recently looked at a Buick, the smallest car they have now has a stinking THREE CYLINDER under the hood, that’s a lawn mower engine to me! All in the name of saving mother earth which really grinds my gears… 🤬
I can’t imagine how those gutless little cars could be safe here. Most people drive big trucks or SUVs and of course lots of semis and industrial trucks.
Gutless Wonder is what I’ve called small cars for many years. Safety is a big reason why I have driven only full-size pickup trucks for years. Especially in this city of two-million people in Sin City where the booze and whatever else flows, 24/7 !! Eewww
