Hospital View

I had to visit the hospital this morning to have a blood draw so out the door I went, basically directly after rolling out of bed. Bummer. I didn’t have an appointment so I expected a long wait, but the place wasn’t too busy so I got lucky and got in super fast. I snapped this photo while waiting for the elevator, sometimes called a Sky Coffin. Sunshine and just 52F is the too-chilly forecast for today. Come on, summer heat! Get back here, I miss you… 😂🔥🌴

  1. Glad to hear that you didn’t have to wait long. I’m counting down the days to summer too. It’s currently -13C (feels like -21C) here in Ontario and I have to go outside at some point to shovel some snow. I’m so not looking forward to it.

    • Thanks, me too! The earliest time I could have had this done was going to be 11AM and it was 8AM. I didn’t have an appointment, was just a lowly walk in. But, one of the workers asked me if I had an appointment, i said no. She said she would see if she could “work me in”. Got in and out in record time!

  2. I remember the heat in Phoenix the moment I wheeled out of a plane 2008. I had serious health problems issues affecting my legs. I was very appreciative of a very tall strong black American orderly who lifted my spirits while we searched for a friend who was to meet me. I enjoyed my trip to America but I didn’t miss the heat in some states. Great view.

    • I’m so glad that this man helped you! Not all Americans are meanies or rotten, regardless of skin color. I have met so many great black people over the years, it’s the same thing here in Las Vegas. The heat in Phoenix and here in Vegas is certainly not for everyone, last summer we had three days of 115F, then it “cooled” to 110 or so. That’s a bit more normal for summer. 😂🔥🌴🇺🇸

    • Awww, thank you X2, AnnMarie! Not sure if I’ll ride the bike today, still have meds to pick up at the pharmacy and it’s still chilly for biking in my case. sTILL DALING WITH THE NEW DOCTOR OFFICE TODAY, GOT MY MEDS CALLED IN NOW. tHEY DON’T HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION JUST YET BUT IT’S COMING. My old doctor had to return to the Philippines to help family. Left patients hanging! Sorry about the CAPS.
