This is a highly cropped image that I took in Downtown Summerlin a few days ago. It’s a part of a much larger steel tubular frame that hangs over the road. I’m off for another bike ride, wish me well! Click image to enlarge.

A good crop
Not so flat here to ride. I sold my 3 wheeler tricycle when we moved north. No more riding to picnics, the markets and town. Maybe one day I’ll buy an electric one but for now I’m happy to drive to the beach and just walk. 🙂
Have a great ride.
Thanks, and if you buy an electric bike you won’t regret it! Just got home from my ride.
I admire your perseverance with the bike rides.
Thank you so much, Anneli! Honestly, riding is pretty much all I have to do these days so why not get some exercise? Biking goes so well with my photography obsession too. The bike has been the best investment I’ve made in a long time. I rode south to Tivoli Village today, got some cool photo to process and had a nice chat with a woman from St. George up in Utah. She was interested in my bike, i gave her the scoop happily. It’s nice that most other bikers say hi and or wave. Fun!
You’ve found an interest that is fun and is good for you at the same time. Lucky you!
Thanks so much, now let’s see how this goes when it’s 110 degrees. Too hot? Nah.
You might have to drive up into the hills where, I hope, it’s cooler, and have your bike in the back of your truck. Ride it there for a while, load it up, and come home again.
That’s a good idea, Anneli, but its a long drive to get to Kyle Canyon Road. At 75F, I still feel a tiny bit of wind chill on my chest, at 100+ I doubt there is any and will have to keep a towel in my pocket to wipe the sweat. Yum… 😂
You’ll figure out what works best for you, I’m sure.
Of course!
Beautiful image John..have a fun outing.
Thanks, Anita! Just got home, another fun ride and meeting others. 15 miles today, no wind, full sun and 75F. Perfect!
That’s great John
