Rolling the clock back four years, these photos were taken in the state park near Red Rock Canyon and along an ancient fault line which are the cliffs you see. Sunshine and 72 are on tap for today, time for another ride today. The high temperature back home today will be just 16 degrees, too cold!

Lovely captures. Even though itβs cold, at least you have some sunshine. Hope you had a nice weekend. Linda
I sure did, thanks! The sunshine is a major reason why I’m still here after the big D. π
Too cold !! It was -36 Celsius here this morning lol. I want spring to come!
Yay! A Rabbit!
Jackrabbits are so cute! β€οΈ
I really like the mountain and the rabbit.
Thanks Anneli! They are somewhat elusive and hard to photograph. Zip, they are gone under a bush!
I know just what you mean. I have the same problem with the birds around here.
I think your bird and photos of Lincoln are beautiful! β€οΈ
Thanks a lot, John. I love having them around the yard.
You are welcome!
Beautiful place <3 I believe I have a photo from a nearby spot hanging over my kitchen table π
Is it near Red Rock Canyon? That’s off of Charleston Boulevard. You have a piece of the Mojave Desert in Sweden! β€οΈπΈπͺ
Beautiful, John. π
Thanks so much, AnneMarie! I never tire of this place. β€οΈπ΅π
I really enjoyed these desert photos, John–the lovely landscape, bright blue sky and the jackrabbit was fun too.
Hi Jet, thanks very much! I love seeing the bunnies, they are so cute! And the California Quail and Road Runners too. So many cute critters in the desert. Have a great weekend!
Fun shot of the Jackrabbit!
Thank you! So many cute critters here in the desert. π
