I love them, don’t you? I love seeing them every day when I drive and when I ride the bike. This is the main entrance to the Marriott hotel on Rampart Boulevard. It’s so impressive with its long line of impressive Mexican Fan Palms! Photo shot on iPhone 12 while on my bike.

Stunning!
A fine shot of a fine avenue
Thank you, Derrick, I hope your home is OK after that terrible storm!
Oh I love this picture. The palm trees in are in such neat lines and it looks so visually appealing.
Thank you, they are beautiful trees! There are several areas around here that have this same design with these Mexican Fan Palms.
That’s a lot of palm trees. Nice image, great composition, John.
Thanks, I love these trees! I have two much smaller sized trees like these in my backyard. They are Mexican Fan Palms.
My husband loves Palm Trees so much! As we don’t have any here, we have to travel to see them
I can send some fronds up to ya!
😄
And some tiny black seeds if I find them. The trees must be pruned around July 15th or sooner to remove the fronds that bear seeds. And, white flowers that attract lots of bees. When I first purchased this home, the itty bitty black palm tree seeds were sprouting tiny one-frond palm trees under the parent tree. You must pull them up or you’ll have baby palm tree city! They are Mexican Fan Palms.
I don’t think we can grow them here, we’re too cold! But I enjoy seeing your photos. hahaha Baby Palm tree city, that would be something to see!
You can try growing Mediterranean Fan Palms, they grow slowly and like it indoors!
Thanks John for the info 🙂
Your welcome!
