It’s really good chili, but I didn’t read the can label correctly and brought home with three cans of mild pinto beans instead of one can of pinto beans and two cans of dark red kidney beans. It does affect the flavor but it’s still okay. Just damn hot! I got some chores done today, wipe the truck down, prune the bushes and cut the little yellow berries off of the Mediterranean Fan Palm out front, a chore that needs to be done each spring because the berries draw vermin in like scorpions. The other photos are from the backyard while cooking.
Every pot of chili has it’s own twist doesn’t it? A party for your taste buds, right? Way to get some outside projects done. We have to be careful not to clean out our flower beds too early as to kill off the hibernating bugs who won’t survive the freezing nights. Happy Sunday, John! Have a great week. π
Thanks, you too, guys. I don’t worry about bugs… βΊοΈ
Sometimes the mistakes turn out to be a new favorite! Hope you enjoyed this one since you have quite a lo9t of it to eat, John!
I had some for breakfast, Doug, actually pretty darn good!
Sounds like a good start to the day to me, too. It looked good in the photo.
Thanks, in a few hours the tooting will commence! π
An advantage of living alone, as I well know! LOL!
Yeah, there’s nobody to drive out of the room with your stench! π My ex used to get so mad about my nocturnal tooting… What am I supposed to do? Sleep outside? Hell no!
LOL! Her choice, no doubt.
She’s long gone since 2016, I never heard from her again which I am fine with but yeah, it hurts a little. I really enjoy living the single life. And, I still do the nocturnal tooting thing… ππ
