This large plant looks beautiful as a decorative plant around homes and businesses as well as being used to make Tequila too. Tequila is too strong for me, no thanks. these plants were photographed at Downtown Summerlin two days ago. Oh, please be sure to avoid those deadly sharp tines too! A brief history of the Agave.

Have a lovely Easter weekend John
Thank you, Rudi, and you too sir.
Both beautiful and daunting
Thank you, Derrick!
Shape, design, colour. This plant has it all.
Thanks, Anneli! Beware those hooks!
I suppose we can’t blame the agaves. It’s self-defense.
That’s a good point, Anneli! the Buckhorn Cholla has many times more tines, the Prickly Pear cactus will bite you too.
Love the lime green bike.
Thank you, K, it’s in front of a restaurant with outdoor seating. Ready for a ride but for the tires!
It’s art now, my friend. Thanks for posting.
Rolling art with a bit of over spray on the tires.
