I had to enlarge the first photos. It looked like a boxing ring with a spectators cheering.

You have to, otherwise the storage capacity dwindles sooo fast! Kind of dumb for WP to be so stingy.

That’s your only choice, I have the Business plan which has many gigs worth of storage, a must for a blog like mine. Another blogger said that WP recently restructured the way their plans work and that they are stingy and ridiculous. I hope they don’t take my business plan or I may just move to WordPress.org.
I read you can store pictures in another place and use a url link to access them

Yes, you can do that, I’ve done it before but prefer my photos are hosted on WP now.
That’s the first time anyone has ever said this, sorry. The image is the same size I always upload which is 1024×586 I think, or 1024×768 and reduced file size to around 180kb, sorry about this.
