At Firehouse Subs

On the way home yesterday, I stopped at Firehouse Subs for a delicious steak and cheese sub. So good! Each location has a large mural in it, this one is a bit different than the location I usually visit. Each mural reflects the city and landscapes outside of the city. A portion of the company’s profits are donated to help firefighters, this company was founded by firefighters for firefighters. A delicious idea!

  1. Noticed that in front of the car in the mural is what looks like one of the guards that you see in front of Buckingham Palace in London. An interesting choice of character…

    • It’s and odd choice isn’t it! I mean, when was the last time you saw one of the Queen’s guards in the States! Maybe the author of the mural is British or has British citizenship. I wish that I did! ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡งโค๏ธ

    • Thank you, Anne! I forgot how good my favorite sub from them is, need to go there more often. My area sadly has just three restaurants, McDeath, Burger Slime and Kentucky Fried Grease which always upsets my stomach, no thanks! ๐Ÿ˜‚

      • I love KFC but have been avoiding it for a few months. I generally try to avoid it as it is so salty and bad for Dan’s blood pressure. I love Arby’s and Taco Time. Now and again I get a major craving for McDonalds. ๐Ÿ™‚

        • Dan and I have the same issue. I am eating a salad right now and took two blood pressure pills to counter the salt in the dressing. It’s terrible but it is what it is… I haven’t had McDeath or the others in a long time now. I always feel hungry after eating that stuff, do you think the company does this on purpose?

          • Definitely think it is on purpose! But I still don’t know how anyone can eat a three pattie burger, extra large SALTY fries, and down a bucket of pop without gagging. (And they add salt to the fries!) But I see people doing it! That would feed Dan and I with plenty to spare.
