Old memories, sweet memories. I treated myself to a pedicure and manicure as well as a proper haircut today. All are long overdue because of the pandemic. I do okay doing these things but not nearly as good as the Korean ladies at the spa. She got a great tip! As projected by the weather service, it’s currently 81 degrees with winds gusting to around 40 miles per hour. Las Vegas should be called the Windy City, not Chicago!

These are beautiful memories, John!
Thanks very much, Lavinia! ❤️
It’s always good to take some time for yourself 🙂
It was overdue! 😂
So you are nicely trimmed now. I like the farm too.
Yes I am haha! I really loved working there, so much better than a desk job.
Hope you enjoyed a bit of pampering. Lovely photos. 💜
Thank you, K! That was a fantastic place to work for those many years. ❤️
Did you work on the farm, then? I’m guessing the animals were akin to my students. 😂
No, it’s purely a residence but was a Thoroughbred farm long ago. Sorry about your students!
Cin keeps saying that somehow Chicago moved here.
I’ll take the winds over their horrid socialism. Pretty city, un-american activities…
Hope you a great pedicure and manicure..brings memories of your past John
That was a beautiful place to work for twenty years, Anita! ❤️
Great memories! That is a beautiful farm yard!💞
Thank you, Anne! Yours truly did the lawn mowing and more here for over 20 years. Such a great job!
The best job I ever had was working nights for a year in a donut shop to make enough money for the downpayment on a house my ex and I built when we moved to Regina. It was just a fun job and I could leave ‘work’ at the shop when I went home in the morning. 😊
That’s good! I’ve never worked a night shift… Can’t stay awake.
I was sleep deprived and giggly for the entire year. Good times! 😂. I can’t imagine how Dan switches back and forth from days to nights – and his job is rather more challenging that working in a donut shop. 🍩
A giggly girl aye! Cute. I tip my hat to your husband, no way could I do that!
Drove my family crazy. Nor could I!
They should be happy that you were so bubbly!
Old barns always make a great subject for photography.
Always! These are very well maintained, but if you drive either way from here you’ll see some rotting old time barns slowly collapsing back into the dirt. Pretty sad actually.
