Hi, Tone, thank you! I like to have a little fun with the overlays and HDR app on the Mac…

Cant be easy ditching the lovely colours on those “hills”, but that shot looks really good in mono!

Those hills are much taller than the appear in the photo thanks to the lens…

I’ve been following you long enough to know they are much taller than our “mountain” 😉 Are there many trails up into them John?

An excellent monochrome

Hi Derrick, thanks very much sir!

Not a place to have a breakdown.

There are thousands of square miles to get lost in here, if the summer heat doesn’t get ya, dehydration and scorpions will! 😂

Eeeeeeee!

The middle of nowhere! I am familiar with that place. Do you ever get fog in the desert? That would be something!

I can’t recall ever seeing fog here, it’s probably way too dry, Anne, the humidity just now is all of ten percent! I love the dryness though. I think our fog is the dust storm that blew through here a few days ago. Horrible!

That would be worse but fog can be nerve racking when you are alone in the middle of nowhere. 😳

Or driving, been there done that. So dangerous!

I remember making a two hour drive up north in thick fog with my three kids (oldest was four). It was so awful. I felt like we’re the last people on the planet. Not only can’t see anything, but it seems to muffle all the sound. Would probably be even worse in heavy traffic – how do people change lanes or find their off ramps? Omg!
Great shot John! Love the contrast.
