I haven’t been to this place for probably two years now and it’s always a nice drive through it. The drone I owned had made two flights here but I don’t know where those photos are now. This road runs twelve miles from its beginning on SR160 or Blue Diamond Road in Las Vegas but the entrance is on the west side of the pass at Mountain Springs, NV. Sunshine and 93 degrees with too much wind is the forecast for today.

Looks like a great place to explore!
Oh yes, it’s beautiful in spring with the many wildflowers dancing gently in the soft, warm breeze. ❤️
Looks like a beautiful spot. I love how colourful the landscape is with all those greens and yellows.
Thank you! I am pretty sure that it was spring when I took those photos.
I like this better than the bare rock mountains. Some trees here and there are always a good thing.
Thanks, Anneli, I can only guess that there are more trees here because of the elevation. When heading to Mount Charleston, you reach an elevation high enough to support what I call an Alpine environment with tons of trees instead of the barren rock.
