This road is on the east side of Downtown Summerlin and connects Charleston Boulevard with Sahara Avenue. I love those palm trees! How is your Wednesday going?

love this
Thanks so much, Sylvia!
Lovely leading lines, great shot John! Just having porridge and a coffee for Wednesday breakfast, so far, so good 😀
Thank you! What is porridge? Oatmeal? It’s Wednesday afternoon here, I thought it was Thirsday there by now because of the huge time difference!
Yes, oatmeal, and it is Thursday here, time flies!! Or I slept in a whole day!!!
That looks tropical, but it’s just the opposite.
It does look somewhat tropical but of course we are far from the tropics! I think those are Canary Date Palms, not sure but they are HUGE trees!
Because of not having palms growing naturally in our area, it’s easy to confuse coconut palms with date palms. I think I’ve seen coconut palms in more tropical places and date palms in desert-like areas.
But at first glance any palm looks like the tropics to me.
They are all beautiful trees, I have two Mexican Fan Palms in the backyard, two Sago palms and one Med Fan, or Mediterranean Fan Palm.
Nice.
