This field has alfalfa or rye planted for the deer to enjoy during summer and hunting season. I have never shot a deer, but many in my family have over the years. Have you ever watched a deer being gutted? It’s an experience that you will remember! The cold autumn air makes the guts steamy as they fall out of the cavity. Yeah, that’s rather gruesome, isn’t it? Sorry about that, I don’t mean to gross you out! π

Have you ever stayed in a hotel room that came with a bullet assembling machine? Been there done that. π
No, why would a machine like that be in a hotel? Yikes! π
Kind of a hunting lodge/hotel. We weren’t on a hunting trip – I have never hunted and Dan hasn’t hunted in decades. We were at my highschool reunion and that was the only hotel in the town where it was held.
That’s an amazing memory for you, Anne Marie!
Yea not really. πππ

Yes, I have mowed those trails and fields for years too. Now I live in the desert!
