I totally agree with your Post. Those were the Good Old Days. I hope you don’t leave here, John; Instagram just isn’t the same.

And I get way more spa on Instagram. But it is more geared to photos than writing so I can see how it would work better for you, John.

Do you mean spam? It’s easy to block the trolls on that platform. You have an IG account?

I do but seldom post anymore. I don’t know if it is spam exactly. It is all the widowed, single parent, engineers, living in Dubai, working for petroleum companies and who happened to see my photo and fell madly in love at first sight. 🤣🤣🤣

That sounds very creepy! Just block those trolls and forget about them. May I have the account name?

It is just annedemyen What is your Instagram account name?

Thank you, John! It is private right? So I have to ask permission to see it? I rarely use instagram anymore.

Yes, my account has always been private. I followed your account, lots of Molly photos. I get several follow requests every day, 99.9% percent of them are deleted because the account has zero posts, or it’s some gal treating IG as though it is a dating app! So dumb.

It’s all a balancing act.

I agree, Anneli.
Also, I have been running this blog for six years now and am getting badly burnt out. The daily removal of spam and business blogs trying to feed off of this blog is getting very old.
My content apparently isn’t too good and isn’t drawing many new people in either.
I considered making the site private but after some research I decided to not do that but it would stop the spammers and businesses from freely following.
I use Instagram daily and honestly, I have far more interaction with followers there on that private account than this blog has ever done. No reflection on you and other followers of course. Maybe I need some away from this blog… Sorry for the rant, I’m just frustrated.

You could take a break from it and then start up later all refreshed.

I know, Anneli, but that never happens. That’s called “addiction” right? Is there a coma after the enclosure tags? 👍🏻

Probably a comma would be good there, but it would be on the inside of the quotation marks, like this: That’s called “addiction,” right? But for comments on here, we’re not going to worry about it.
