Okay, I love the shot. It always amazes me the different feelings one gets when you take a photo and then alter it like this. For me, there is a warm inviting feeling in the color and a stark coolness in the grayscale. Because of that, I love both versions fairly equally.

Thanks very much, K! The distance between myself and that snow capped mountain is actually several miles! I noticed when I moved here almost ten years ago that distances seem different here as opposed to living in Michigan with it’s thick trees and plants. Here, it is easily possible to see many miles with a glance.
