How high are the mountains where you live? The last photo is gorgeous.
The largest mountains on the edge of the valley are Gass Peak at 6900 feet and Frenchman Mountain at 4,056 feet to the best of my knowledge. Other peaks to the northwest of the valley are higher. The big boys are Fletcher Peak at 10,319 feet and Mount Charleston at 11,916 feet. We have plenty of mountains here! Behind Alaska, Nevada is the most mountainous state in the union.
