I was wondering what kind of duck this is when I saw it at Floyd Lamb Park the other day. It was easy to find the species with a quick search. Just 48 degrees for a high-temperature today which totally sucks. A huge low-pressure system has been swirling in the north pacific that has brought tons of snow and rain to the northwest states but that damn cold air is making its way down to Las Vegas. Enough already, how about some normal, seasonable temperatures for a change!

With a bill that wide, this duck can do a lot of shoveling. I wonder if he takes on little snow-removal jobs in the winter.
That’s a good question, Anneli! 😂 $20 bucks a job.
LOL. And as they shovel away, they are saying to each other, “Isn’t this just ducky?”
Quack quack! 😂👍🏻

Thanks! Anneli thinks he may shovel snow in winter for a few extra bucks. 😂
That duck is so gorgeous it doesn’t look real. 😳
Thank you, Anne Marie! A 300mm lens would have pulled the duck in closer. They have a very wide bill, great for – shoveling!
