This latest round of unusually cold weather has left more snow on the Las Vegas Range and 8 new inches of snow at the ski lodge near Mount Charleston as of this morning. I’ve had enough of this nonsense! I used the iPhone for these not-so-good photos looking north on Buffalo Avenue. Always bring the Nikon!

Fantastic photos, John! Clarity, colors, perspective and the snowy mountains are perfect!
We had for two days a snow storm. It’s over this morning and sunny but freezing cold.
Thanks so much, Kaya! I’ve been following that storm on TWC for a few days, winter needs to end.
Amazing photos. Mother nature is very entertaining lately.
Thanks, Eugenia, winter needs to go away!
Most welcome, John.
The snow-capped mountains are still so amazing.
Hi, thank you! I love our mountains. ❤️
What an amazing turquoise sky.
Thank you, K! I really love our mountains, and they make great navigation tools too. Hard to get lost in the valley. 😆
This blue sky caught my eye. Anita
Thank you, Anita, I’m glad you like the photos. ❤️
The snow enthusiasts will be happy! 😉
Oh yeah, I follow Lee Canyon on IG their photos of the snow are pretty up there but I’ll stay way down here in the much warmer valley.
Beautiful! Here we are getting a big snow storm this week! I’m starting to really look forward to spring!
Thank you, Vanessa! I see all of that snow on TWC heading east across our northern tier states, no thanks!
34 degrees and snowing up here right now.
Wow, that’s too cold Lavinia! It has spit a tiny bit of snow in the valley this afternoon but it never sticks, yay! Stay bundled up. ☺️🥶
Lovely! I love the soft blue of the sky here.
Thank you, Bridgette! ☺️
