The last few years have seen the 215 freeway being built which means lots of concrete is needed. The tall cylinders are a part of the plant that made that concrete and it is still active. Sunshine and 56 degrees for today and the 60s are supposedly coming. The normal, seasonal temperature for Las Vegas this time of year is the upper 60s into the 70s so this joke of a winter has been well below normal temperature.

I also heard that lots of wind is expected over the weekend.
You’re complaining because it’s in the 70s!!!??😵💫
It’s not in the 70s yet, Vinny, but the 60s are up soon!
At first glance it looked like a rocket launch site…love the monochrome here…
Thank you, Marcus! 🤙🏻
I do love those mountains ! Our weather has been crazy too, like spring today but yet another storm supposed to blast through tomorrow with another 20-30 cm of snow, blah
That’s a serious flip flop! This winter needs to end. Now!
The mountains you have out there make a fabulous backdrop to your desert images.
I totally agree, Richard, thank you! ☺️
Very much like a photography by Ansel Adams but I’m guess there were not too many concrete factories around in his time.
That is very kind of you, Richard! I’m no Ansel Adams but I try.
A really nice monochrome treatment John.
Thanks so much, Richard!
