This Nikon photo was shot in grayscale yesterday looking west toward the small mountains west of my place. I didn’t notice the rock pigeon in the mist until this photo made it to my MacBook desktop. Sunny, windy, and just a meager 53F are on deck for the valley today which really sucks it but supposedly the high will hit the 80s later this week. Seeing is believing, folks, it’s still true! This photo is 100% unprocessed.

Wonderful mountain view! We’re expecting an ice storm overnight; your temps sound fine to me 😏
Thank you, Belinda! Boooo to the ice storm, I’ve been through several in Michigan over the years and they all were terrible. Be safe!
Winter’s last hurrah 😏. Thanks.
I sure hope so, Belinda.
This is very cool. I love the Pigeon getting his special moment.
Good morning, Venus, thank you! Mr. Pigeon was a nice surprise. ❤️

Aww thank you so much, Kaya! ❤️☺️
Looks cool.
Thank you so much, Anneli! It’s sunny today but still windy and too damn cold. 🥶
Think of it as filling Lake Mead. That’s if it’s also raining, of course.
There were showers in the area yesterday as seen drifting across the valley in the distance, but no rain at my place. I wonder what the monsoons will bring us this mid and late summer…
Time will tell.
Time tells all, time rules us all.
Awesome photo!
