Mr. Woodpecker was very confused and was pecking at the plastic lamp post in front of my house, it made a very weird sound. The rock face with a hole in it is on the southeast side of Lone Mountain, a favorite hiking and climbing spot for locals. How is your Tuesday going?

That woodpecker ought to be able to find something more appropriate to peck at with all the natural beauty nearby.
How is his head?
With all that nature around that woodpecker should be able to find something more appropriate to peck at. 😯
I agree, Anne Marie! Perhaps the bird pecked some bad wood a bit before he started pecking on plastic? Perhaps… 😂
Do they peck at palm trees?
I believe the link will answer your question, Anne Marie. 😊

Liked the cave opening in the rock wall, John, and the fun bit of oddness with the woodpecker, too.
Hi Jet, thanks so much! I heard that odd noise from the living room and headed for the kitchen window, there it was pecking on plastic! 😂 I suppose those holes are natural but I see them frequently outside of the city too, a great place for animals to shelter, ❤️
that is a confused woodpecker! Anita, I quite often have trouble getting onto your site. I hope you get it sorted out soon 🙁
This woodpecker was on the plastic lamp. Can you comment on my site John?
A very confused bird, Anita! Are you having issues with your site again?
I trying to figure this out ?
