The ducks are awesome! And, that’s mostly what I saw too except for a goose family. The flowers are Oleanders, there is a park border fence that has nothing but blooming Oleanders along its length, very beautiful! However, this plant becomes a tree if you don’t prune it regularly.

Was able to visit that location for the first time while out there in March – very nice place, although I a red-breasted nuthatch frustrated me to no end trying to get it in the tin.
I’m glad that you visited this park, it’s a nice park but I think the city should keep the grass up much better along with cleaning the tree debris up. Not much you can do about the bird poo everywhere!

I thought about visiting there but that’s a ways away from here. I am sure there are closer parks near me with Ducks.
This park is right up against the mountains on the northern end of the valley so it is indeed a very long way from you, Venus. There is a wetlands are much closer to you:
