I wish all of my American friends a happy and safe Memorial Day this coming Monday. Today, I drove east to the north end of the Las Vegas Strip to get some photos of the Stratosphere Tower and the area around it. Both the 28-60 and the 211mm lenses were used today, I have many more photos from today lined up. Today has been very beautiful with 90 degrees, a nice breeze, and 100% vitamin D falling from the sky!
Your pictures look so crisp and sharp. I love those bright blue skies. We’ve been enjoying some warm sunny weather as well. Happy Memorial Day. It’s too bad us Canadians don’t get that day off too (although we had last Monday off for Victoria Day).

An impressive tower and I like the contrast between Jesus and guns (last picture)
Thanks, Rudi, I was in that tower twice in ten years here. It’s very scary on windy days because the tower does sway just a bit. I’ll stay on the ground! There are lots of people that work up there… 🫣
That Jesus sign next to the Gun Show sign really says something, I think.
Hi Venus, I find it terrible that the gun sign is next to the Jesus sign in that Jesus saves, and guns kill. Yet, I am pro-gun rights. Someone made a very crass decision to juxtapose them.
I don’t know..I was thinking of it more along safety. Jesus is in the details.
