This summer, the extra hot days are sustaining much more than usual which is a bummer! Here is the last video of last night’s thunderstorm which missed my area which sucks. In the video, you can see the rain sail’s to the west not far from me but the cooler wind felt pretty nice! It’s time for a drive into the mountains to get out of the heat for a few hours.
Sorry to hear that the rain missed you. We’ve been getting a decent amount of rain this past month, which was been a nice change of pace compared to the last couple of summers when it felt like we were in a drought. We are under a heat warning though, but it’s not nearly as hot as LV.
Oh, my, goodness…that is SO HOT! If we had weather like that we’d be miserable due to the humidity. We’re going to be in the 90s this week. UGH.

Thanks, I’m glad you like that abstract look, Shelley. The humidity at my place this morning is just 20% which is what I am used to. The visit to Michigan recently was difficult due to the humidity. My sister mentioned yesterday on the phone that the 90s are coming so stay cool!
The 20s for humidity…we rarely see that! This week is in the 90s for humidity. 🙄 We’re doing what we can to stay cool and out of the smoke from Canada! You stay cool too!
