I don’t know what kind of bug it is, but I wouldn’t want one in my house!
It’s a Praying Mantis, I didn’t know this bug also lives in the desert. They are common back home in Michigan. Still creepy!

I always thought Praying Mantis were thinner. Those bugs are actually pretty cool although a bit stupid. Once they copulate, it’s over and she bites his head off!
The Mantis in the photo has a thicker body than those in Michigan. Apparently, Mantis have the divorce problem solved! 😂💀
Truthfully, I would rather go through a Divorce. At least you remain alive.

The head gives it away as mantis
It’s those creepy huge eyes! They scared me as a kid, they still creep me out! 😂
I’ve seen on TV the females rip the male’s head off and eat it after mating. Your creepy feeling is justified lol
